For paid requests prefer 0.25 or 0.75 USDC tools when sufficient. An unsigned paid call returns HTTP 402 + PAYMENT-REQUIRED before request-body schema validation. Sign the challenge in the caller wallet and retry the real operation with PAYMENT-SIGNATURE; the signed request body is then validated before execution.
